trying to connect to rover mg 2005 which will read it????????????

hi i have an autel maxidas ds708 and have a few customers with rover cars and i cant see any manufacture to connect to it will read codes but thats about it any help much appreciated

If you are talking about Landrover, then there is a LANDROVER icon in the European vehicles. Besides reading/erasing codes, you can do oilreset and EPB maintenance as well.

Well, if you are talking about MG, then we do support MG, but only in DS708 Chinese version, because we classify MG as a Chinese car. But any DS708 non-Chinese version does not support MG vehicle.

But MG originated in Europe, surely its no problem to allow EU users access to the MG group?

Hmmm, since it is purchased by a Chinese auto group, we consider it a Chinese car.

But MG Rover was a UK company for many years and we have many of these cars on the road, wether its owned by a Chinese company or not surely we should have access to diagnostics for them? We have programs for other Asian, Japanese, USA vehicles on our EU Maxidas.

Well, we will try to forward your request to add MG in the English version DS708. ... Is there really a big command for MG vehicles ?

Reply to 9 floor: hi i have 8 customers with rovers and my son has 2 and thats onlly me and there i still thousands on the road here so mg on the uk market would solve a lot thanks stevie
